PREMIUM FUELS

Premium diesel fuels are playing a major role in the strategic cost effect future of todays fuel consumer.  Modern fuels in both nominal mineral diesel and biodiesel have advanced to European quality and specifications within Australia.  Fleetpower have strong relationships with fuel distributors and international refineries whereby we provide the additive package FYREX CI to improve diesel combustion efficiency and emission outputs. 

PREMIUM MINERAL DIESEL

Premium mineral diesel will provide you with opportunities to improve your fuel efficiency and reduce your emissions. 

Within Australia the following improvements have been repeatedly delivered through continued usage of PREMIUM DIESEL:

• On Road Buses national rolling average 6.5% reduction
• On Road Trucks National Rolling average 5.4% Reduction
• Off road engines Average Direct Burn reduction 9% and significant additional reduction of up to an additional 11% based on shorter haul speed achievement distances on flat ground.
• Power Generation improved fuel burn on return to service of 30% usage and a general boiler efficiency improvement of 7.3%.
 
Fyrex CI also offers exceptional environmental performance from Diesel combustion. Independently monitored and certified by Australian Government Bodies the following emission reductions are from the combustion of Fyrex CI blended diesel fuels
 
• Nitrogen Oxides (3%-4%)
• Carbon Monoxide (up to 30%)
• Hydrocarbon (up to 40%)
• Particulate Emissions (up to 24.5%)
• Ozone (50% - 90%)
 
Biodiesel is a diesel replacement fuel which:

• Can be used at 100% or blended in any ratio with conventional Diesel.
• B100 = 100% Biodiesel 
• B20 = 20% Biodiesel, 80% conventional Diesel.
• It is manufactured from vegetable oils, recycled cooking greases or oils, or animal fats.
• The Biodiesel manufacturing process reacts oils and fats with methanol (or ethanol) to form long chain esters, known as Acid Methyl Esters (FAME)

THE ADDITION OF FYREX CI TO YOUR BIOFUEL WILL PROVIDE YOU PERFROMANCE BETTER THAN NOMINAL DIESEL, EMISSIONS NEUTRAL ON NOx AND UP TO 75% REDUCTION IN HYDROCARBON PARTICULATE (Cancer causing emission component).

WARRANTIES:

Manufacturers do not warrant fuel -

• Failures caused by the use of ANY fuel are not defects of material and / or workmanship as supplied by the manufacturer, hence failure cannot be compensated under warranty. 
      
Manufacturers recommend use of fuel to fuel quality standards -

• The Australian Fuel Quality (Automotive Diesel) determination 2001 meets all OEM performance requirements. Biodiesel blends such as B20 made with quality biodiesel easily surpass this standard.

Variety of Biodiesel quality levels -

• Because of variety of quality levels, OEMs provide recommended maximums from B5 to B30 (and some to B100). The use of Biodiesel does not automatically void your warranty. 
       
Recommendation -

• As a minimum, the user should ensure that any blend of Biodiesel and Diesel used complies with the Australian Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel Standard.
